The Guru Sahib Charitable Society plant trees on the waste and barren lands and in the gurdwaras, to create healthy and friendly environment. The society is also working on the water harvesting system to preserve the water table level. The water treatment plants have been installed to clean the drinking water and to supply it to the households for usages of all kinds.
Farmers are given the facilities of machinery to avoid harming the environment by burning the waste cultivation to maintain the healthy environment for the people to live in. It also keeps the soil fertile for future cultivation. The Village Khosa Randhir has been converted into a Green Village with healthy living conditions. A nursery is also available in the village where different types of plantations are available to the villagers. Various projects have been started to spread awareness of herbal gardens, food forests and traditional plants among the mankind.
